Parish Council

Working on behalf of the residents of North Cotes to support our village, our amenities and our community life.

What we're here for

The Parish Council is the most local tier of government in North Cotes. In short, we're here to:

  • Representing the views and concerns of North Cotes residents to the district and county councils.
  • Helping to look after village amenities such as the Village Hall, footpaths, verges and shared green spaces.
  • Reviewing local planning applications and commenting on behalf of the village.
  • Working with police, highways and other agencies on issues that affect day-to-day village life.
  • Supporting community events, projects and initiatives that bring our village together.
  • Holding open meetings where residents are welcome to attend, listen and raise points.
