Village school

A small, welcoming village school where every child is known, supported and encouraged to thrive.
North Cotes Church of England Primary School is part of the North Cotes and Fulstow Federation and provides education for children aged 4 to 11.
The school prides itself on being a caring, inclusive environment where relationships are warm and every child feels valued and supported.
It has been described as a “little gem” where pupils feel safe, happy and well cared for.
The school is built on strong Christian values, guided by the vision “God knows your heart” (Luke 16:15).
This ethos shapes everything the school does, creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to grow academically, socially and personally.
Children benefit from a supportive atmosphere where staff listen, guide and encourage them to achieve their best in a safe and happy setting.
The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted, with inspectors highlighting the warm, trusting relationships and positive learning environment.
Parents consistently praise the school for its supportive staff, strong communication and nurturing approach.
Children typically start in Reception at the beginning of the academic year before their fifth birthday, in line with Lincolnshire County Council admissions policy.
Applications are made through the local authority, with places offered each September.
The school offers wraparound care in partnership with external providers, giving families additional flexibility before and after the school day.
